This is a great idea. Thanks! I do have a question though, which one? Payson has 3 editions that I can find. He published in 79, 95, and 97. Which one are you looking at? I'm getting the 95 edition from the library and am considering the 97 edition, "Build the New Instant Boats", from Barnes and Noble.

Also, thanks to everyone else who responded. I was particularly interested in Grants suggestion, and offsets, for the Cormorant 16. I think this is more of a next winter project. HMMM ... maybe I need space for another 1, or 2, or ?? kayaks in my house? Now, what tool can I justify for this next project? I like the looks of the draw saws... I just need to convince my wife I can take over the family room for 1 more year!
