Hey don't worry too much, I had the same problem with my Hiawatha, there is not much of a way to get them to wrap around. Cutting them every few inches helps some but i just ended my cloth at the stems and did not wrap around at all. If you want,you could come back later after all glassing is done and add a strip over the stems, if there are any bubbles at that point you can always sand down to the first layer of glass to remove the bubbles and feather in the added glass.
