I freeze my rollers after each coat of epoxy, I don't even clean the rollers. I just ensure that there is not too much epoxy on them. Toss the roller and all in a plastic bag into the deep freezer. I have never had a problem. I take it out of the freezer about an hour before I am ready to use it. It is a little stiff until it warms up (just a couple of minutes of use). I could probable use one pad for the entire boat. However I just toss out the pad in between doing the outside and the inside of the boat and clean up the roller. I am ready for my next adventure.

PS: don't let the pad sit to long on the roller or it is a little tough to get off by your self.
