G. I own one of these plastic tubs and I LOVE it. I took the front seat out and put a carpeted piece of plywood in it for my dog Murphy, we go everywhere in it. Ours has a rudder and because of this little accessory I am able to keep up with "real" kayaks without rudders in rough water. We have two other fg singles and I'm building a Guillemot L but I'll always have a use for the Pamlico. You just can't hurt the darn things. Ray
