In Response To: precoat problems (Dale Frolander)
Thanks Paul, but I continued working on it and just now got your message. The epoxy was still kind of soft so I went ahead and put the fiberglass on it. The fiberglass settled into the excess resin and the whole thing actually turned out real nice. I don't have any excess resin anywhere now as it worked into the weave.
It was kind of a pain to have to glass around 3 combings while learning, but now that I've done the hardest part I'm sure the rest of the fiberglassing will be easy. Can't wait till it's cured enough to get those fill coats on.
Thanks again,
Dale
