Hi Armin, mailing folded glass is a regrettable convenience that a manufacturer uses for small orders of glass. In the glassing that I've done the wrinkles caused by folding come out with care but tight folds can be hard, the mystery to me are the shiny wave like wrinkles that occur with some glass right off the big roll. Those don't quite flatten out with squeegeeing. I wonder if it's something in the manufacturing process. -lee
