Hey all:

I'm finally getting to start a new boat for the season. We hope to get it finished for an early to mid-summer launching.

Its one of Eric's Merganser 16s (16.5 long, and 21 inches wide) with a greenland hardchine hull and multipeaked deck.

Just ordered wood from Noahs and epoxy/glass from Raka.

The plan is 4 mm for the hull and 3 mm for the deck. 6 oz glass for the hull and 4 oz glass for the deck. Using 6 oz tape to glass the inner seams also.

Hope its a fun project and that my SO is psyched to get a wood yak to paddle. I hope to take some pictures during construction and will post occassionally.
