: Be careful about the plywood. I used 1/4", three ply fir from Home Depot for my Six Hour Canoe. The wood was so cheap that it leaked through the plywood. The joints were ok, but the voids in the plywood let water come in through the face. I would suggest that you use at least luan. It will be lighter than fir plywood and probably better quality.
