I'm just about finished with my final sanding before varnishing my stripper. I'm concerned about a couple of spots on the exterior seam where I've feathered in the tape edges to the hull and deck. The epoxy got a little thick along the edge and as I sanded some pin-hole sized air pockets opened up. As I sand they fill with dust making a white spots. I don't want to sand any deeper and am wondering if these will disappear with the first coat of varnish. Is it a good idea to thin the first coat down to take care of this problem? And while I'm on the subject, how long do you usually let the epoxy cure before you begin to varnish. This bulletin board and the repsonses I've received for my novice questions have been a great help. Thanks
