Dean,

Did you run continuous strips from fore deck to aft deck without terminating in the cockpit area? That does sound like torture. Is that what Jay calls for in the plans? I'm just curious, because the plans I've seen all have strips running free into the cockpit area.

: You can never have too many clamps. Those Craftsman versions of Quick-Grip
: clamps are expensive at $16 each, but worth every penny.

: The Outer Island is an exercise in strip-torture (but not all that bad.)
: There's a 4"-5" drop from the front of the cockpit to the rear,
: done over about 2 forms (2 feet.) This was exacerbated a bit by the fact
: that I raised the foredeck forms 1/2" to accomodate my size-12 feet.
