: Hey Julie, I've got my Tern scheduled to launch on the 20th as well! (I MUST glue the hatch lips on tonight!) Unfortunately, being in Tucson AZ, we're holding the launch party in my backyard pool...hey, as long as it floats! As for ceremony, I'm afraid we're taking the "let's pretend we're in the islands Mon" route...lots of Jimmy Buffet, the odd bit of surf music...perhaps even some Dick Dale. Some shrimp on the barbie and we should be set. Seeing as we're due to hit 100 degrees this week, it won't be a big stretch (I'm certain the boat being gently warmed to 90 degrees each day in the garage has sped the full cure process...can you say S L O W hardener?!) I must confess though that I can't wait for the full two weeks we'll have in San Diego this summer. Definitely splash the champagne on the bow...perhaps a little in the ocean for the ancestors too...enjoy!
