Two ideas for you:

Use inlaid wood to spell out her name in a prominent spot on the deck of the first boat. Do your name on the second boat. That will make it harder to swap them later.

or

If she likes the second boat better, then give it to her -- and start in immediately on building a third boat. This not only makes the wife happy but it enables you to maintain an atmosphere of 8 percent sawdust in your workshop for an extended period of time. That should keep you from feeling withdrawl pains from the addictive recreation of building boats.
