I paddle a pyranha micro 230. Yeah, I get the weirdest looks, let me tell ya, but here's why its been the most perfect boat for me: with my weight and height, there isn't a playboat on the market that i've paddled with anything resembling comfort. i know "access" comes at a price, but I do enjoy being at least mostly free from intense pain. the 230 fits as well as any bigger boat i've owned: freefalls, descentes, etc. its great on class V, especially super technical steeps, obviously, but pretty much everything i've paddled its done nicely. AND...(and here's the nice part), i can still squirt, splat, rocket-move all day, get the occasional wave-wheel and cart-wheel in the right holes. it front surfs steep breaking waves like mad, although i can't flat spin on a green wave, or cart-wheel in flat water like today's hottest playboats, it's an incredible all around craft for me. although i don't think there are any pictures of me in that particular boat, check out my buddy's website for some cool stuff on our hobby.
