Will be finishing up my first cedar wood-strip canoe in the next few months...hopefully!!! Wanting to then move on to building a double seater kayak. We paddle the great lakes of Iowa and some rivers. Wanting stability, cargo room for weekend camping, and something that can be turned easily and can handle wind and 2-foot white caps. Any suggestions for proven designs along this line?
