Greeting -- I finally got the Merganser in the water this past Saturday (5/13), went to a state park lake. Real windy and cool. I'm a beginning kayaker and the boat was tippy'er than I had planned. I didn't go over, but between the wind and the tippy'ness it was a fight. It tracks very well and I didn't have any trouble with the wind trying to turn it (I had trouble turning it). It's going to take a while to turn me from a "guy with a kayak" to a "kayker", but I'm going to work hard at it.
