If youve already started the project with epoxy then it would be a bad plan to go to a polyester based filler like Bondo. Ive had to "make my own" a few times in a pinch. If you have access to microbaloons put those for thickness, but the real sandability will come from talc. Talc will dissolve into the resin quite good. Almost like cab-o-sil. The only down side is the looks you get from the check out girl at Eckerds drug store when you walk up to the counter with a couple pounds of baby powder. Just look em in the eye and say "ive got an itchy itchy rash"
