Hi Kent;

Yea, it looks a lot like measles alright . . . Thanks for the warning about the extra filling needed at the sheer. Fortunately, I sanded off the last coat thoroughly, and I may do the same with this one. It seems like extra work, but there are so many dimples, it may actually be the faster way. I still need a decent coat so that I can fair without cutting into the cloth. I don't think weight is going up, it's all coming off as powder . . . ;-)

I haven't even started yet, my mood has also been a bit 'pitted' and I want to feel positive when I get back to the kayak.
