You'll love it in Alaska, it is truly a spectacular place. Unfortunately, we are moving outside this year due to a job opportunity in Kentucky. We will really miss Anchorage.

I can't help much with the waters since, until I finish my kayak, I am not a kayaker. I can say that a little building in the winter certainly makes them go a little faster and keeps my insanity to a minimum.

Looking for a house with a GREAT garage/shop for kayak building? If I don't get my Guillemot Double finished before I have to leave it might even come with a partially finished boat!
