I put 2 plies of 6oz glass on the hull. Instead of making a mess like I did on the inside of the deck, I put on the resin and squeegeed off all excess on each fill coat. It took a bunch of coats to fill the weave, but it was way easier than sanding, and it was glass smooth when I was all done.

It's my Guillemot Double stretched 1' and made into a triple.
