How about a couple of dots of hot glue to hold the hull to the forms as you glass the outside? Never tried it but it may help. Don
: I'm working on my first stripbuilt kayak. During the stripping process I
: worked my hardest to make the strips stay in contact with the proper edge
: of the form. When I removed the forms, the hull sprung out maybe 1/8"
: to 3/16" of an inch on one side of a couple of the forms. I can't
: notice it when looking at the hull without the form in there, but I'm
: wondering how it will effect the tracking? Do any of your boats flex out a
: little when you remove the forms? Is there anything I can do during the
: glassing process?
: Any info will help. Thanks.
