I added a few blocks here and there where needed for extra clamping. I think some people drill a ring of holes near the perimeter of each form and clamp into the holes. Maybe you could drill holes, then put a dowel in the hole nearest where you want to clamp. This way you could clamp to either side of the form, which could be handy, especially near the ends of the boat.
