: On the bird droppings, well.... it must have been on a low color-ie diet,
: cause if you were out here and a mulberry eater got your boat, it would be
: purple forever. That stuff takes the paint off a car, or permently
: discolors it. Even the bird poop is toxic in California. 8^0

Speaking of bird poop take the paint off car, I have personal experienced that. I just moved into the new house 10 tears ago. There was a PG&E / Cable pole just outside my driveway. I make the mistake of parking my car right underneath it. It was arround fall and the berries were everywhere. The first monday, I came out of hibination to go back to work. To my horror, my car was totally cover in green, purple and black with some white streak. I could not tell the car's original color. I host and scrup the crap off in a hurry. The paint was pitted and no amount of waxing can fix that. Later, I found out the bird congrugate at 4:30 to 6 PM. Near the end of their meeting, as if on queue, they would all poop at roughly the same time. Their favorate spot, of course, is right in front of my house. How lucky! Well, I learn my lesson and try not to park there anymore; but parking space is hard to come by in Bay Area. Once awhile, I still have to scrub the crap off my car, and live with my yuckky car.
