No actually. She was in the other room working out a new song. It was one of those moments of complete lucidity when I realized how lucky I truly was. Some guys escape to the garage to get away from their "other half," I ask her if she feels up to working in the garage and next thing I know, we're out there doing this or that, and she's always coming up with some nifty way to do something like:

situation: putting in the coaming strips Her solution: 1. lift the deck off the forms 2. cut the forms that are in the cockpit cutout flush with the top off the strongback 3. get a scrap oiece of plywood, trim it so that it's 1-inch bigger all around the cockpit hole when measured straight down 4. screw it to the topp of the stongback 5. place a coaming strip in place, measuring the approx bottom of the deck, 6. saw the strip mostly through so that after the coaming is done, it'll be much easier to saw the remaining underdeck extra off 7. glue the strip in 8. repeat steps 5-8, cutting each coaming strip for it's position.

the coaming is out of scrap mahogany (trims rescued/recycled from a dumspster of a furniture making biz). Her idea sure made it much much easier!
