: Hi Rehd;

: Y'all keep saying that it is expensive, but I wonder . . . You can get 8oz
: for $12-15 or so, and that is probably more than I have used in my whole
: life. If you have never played with the "thin" CA, you'd find it
: does not take much at all. A drop will wick into and wet perhaps an inch
: of a tight joint of 1/4" thickness, perhaps a few inches if the joint
: is really tight and you drop it up-slope ;-)

: No need to wet every inch of wood strip, perhaps every 8" or so -
: thinking out loud. The epoxy will take care of the rest of the glueing
: operation..

: "Try it, you might like it!"

: Best Regards, Spidey

Yeh, you're probably right. It's just that I feel a little edgie(?) when I don't get 100% in the joint I'm glueing. Old cabinet days I guess. ??? It just seems a waste of construction to not glue all of each strip and make it as solid as possible. Whatever the wood strip adds to the layup, it has to be multiplied when all the wood strips are 100% bonded. Just stands to reason. And, I've seen how that stuff spreads. Use to use it on model airplanes.

Way past this ole man's bed time, so, see ya later.
