I don't have any scans of mine yet, but I hope to have some soon. Send me your e-mail address so we won't have to clutter up this BB. Mine weighs 53 lbs--a little heavier than I expected, but I think I know where the weight comes from: I have more decking than one sees on this kind of canoe, solid gunwales, 7/8" ash for the seat (Martin Step's caned version), 6 coats of varnish. I took it out for its first real paddle this past Sunday. I, too, was impressed by how nimble it is. I love it!
