Shawn Don't buy a Unisaw unless you can get a deal on a used one. My suggestion is to haunt the schools for a "damaged" one, ie, dropped, bumped, etc. Here in California, such a unit is trashed or recycled for metal content because of possible damage, hidden cracks, etc. The cost and efforts of magnafluxing (an expensive method to determine if flaws exist within a metallic structure), and liability issues... Now, pay attention to the following: We've been looking for quite some time for a keeper table saw and the "new" Dewalt floor unit was it. Relatively cheap, excellent quality, none of the continual adjusting BS... FYI, Grizzly products can come from either Taiwan, Taiwan via assembled in one of the "island" labor sources, or China. For a table saw, unless it was definitely made in Taiwan, don't buy it. Dewalts...now they have some fine QA/QC. If there's a Blacker and Decker repair/outlet nearby my suggestion is to haunt it for the deals... Sorry for the rant, but trust me, we've been looking and studying for years on this subject...
