: Pictures, pictures, pictures!!!
: Please.
: How much do you think it costs to build one of these decks? Also, would it
: even be practical for a person who builds maybe a boat a year or something
: and doesn't sell it for $5,000 plus?
: Just a couple of questions since it sure sounds neat. they must be real
: pretty though and pretty tough I would imagine. How about vacuum blading
: some nice paddle blades with a wood core?
: very nice, Pete czerpak albany, NY
Pete, I ordered a digital camera two days ago and they called back to say it wouldn't be available for about 2 weeks. So won't have any pictures for a bit but will post something probabvly after the Michigan Symposium. Of course, if someone from the bbs shows up there and wants to take some pictures to post sooner, be my guest.
It looks like we can do these decks as an option for about an additional $250 (I'll probably be eating these words in a month). But that is using the same mold for all three sizes of our Cormorants. Don't think it will fit our other kayaks, but might fit the Loon. Might be a bit much work for one kayak a year, but maybe not much more work than a nice strip deck.
