I built a Cheasepeake 16 from CLC about 2 years ago. I had a great time building it and still enjoy paddleing it. The staff at CLC was very helpful and freindly. I took delivery of my kit at the factory (used to live near Annapolis) and got to see all the boat before I made my choice. I would agree with previous posts, if you can see them first hand, do so. I have no experience with Pygmy boats....I've never seen one. I live in San Antonio, Texas now, and I'll show my boat to anyone interested. I hope to build another boat in the near future.
