ah, the wait is worth it though. my first boat, i lauched it w/o a seat, hip pads, bulkheads, and temporary footpegs that I robbed from my whitewater boat. I ducttaped the hatches and away I went. it took another month before I was anywhere near finished.

This boat still needs a couple more coats of varnish, toggles, hip pads and thigh hooks. It was a lot easier to get this one very close to being finished before launching it.
