I've finished stripping the deck and read in Nick's book about the cockpit recess and how it may help during the coaming installation. I don't have any plans for the recess, so I don't know how it should go, but I think I should make the cutout so the recess is as flat as possible. Right? I have quite a bit of curvature at the front part of the cockpit area so the recess may angle up quite a bit. Will this be o.k.? Any of your experiences will be helpful.
