The "lake" (Moose Creek Reservoir) is close to Bovill,Id about an hour east of Moscow and 20 min from our house. You may be thinking of Spring Valley Reservoir which is a little larger and just outside of Troy, Id (maybe 30 min east of Moscow). We use Moose Creek because it is closer for us and further from Moscow - i.e. less populated. Both are good for messing around, however, since there are no powerboats/jetskis and if you capsize, you can just about walk back to shore :-)
