I said this below, too, but since it is relevant, and folks may have missed it...
The Tacoma Narrows Bridge will have 2 out of 4 lanes closed all weekend (from Friday to late Sunday/early Monday). They did this last week too, and this created huge traffic jams. So plan on some extra time if you have to go that way. Otherwise, ferries will be a great way to get there.
: Excuse the ignorance of an inlander, but I was curious about the feasibility
: of using the ferry system in Seattle to get to R2K. I'll be taking our
: 4-runner with 2 A. Terns on top (comes in around 7-8' tall). Surely some
: of you coastal natives do this. Is it more pain than its worth? Or should
: we "drive around"?
: Thanks,
: Bill
: P.S. I'm specifically thinking about the Edmonds-Kingston ferry.
