Really nice looking kayak! I read your entire journal, it was very informative and interesting, a good read. I have built two cedar strip canoes but this is my first kayak. I started the Guillemot last week after gathering the supplies. I bandsawed the strips, made the strongback and forms out of 1\2" BC plywood. Plan to plane the strips next then bead and cove with router. Epoxy is on the way. Thanks for the good info.
