Also notice that there is very little difference between the 1/4" wood with 2 layers of 6-oz. on the front and 1/4" with only one layer of 6-oz. Two of the double-6-oz. longitudinal samples were markedly stronger, but two faired no better than the single-6-oz. samples. They show no difference across the strips, and the double lay-up weighs ~15% more.
