I could be wrong, but I think you will have a devil of a time cutting through that carbon fiber when you cut the hatches out.

On my Spring Run, I put two strips of tape, right at the forward and aft end of the inside deck under the hatches. This in addition to the standard one layer 4oz inside layup. The curvature matches fine. The real trick is to put the deck onto spacers which match the form width when you glass the inside. Do the same on the hull, and let that glass go fully off before removing the spacers, several days cure. Then, the curvature doesnt change when you put the deck and hull together which is after the hatches are cut.
