Putz does recommend epoxy + screws where the frames attach to stems or floor/deck crossmembers. I do plan on doing this. What I was referring to was the screwing of frames/stringers to the forms as a temporary means of holding them in place. When the hull comes off the forms, the screws come out, leaving holes and presumably stressed wood.
