If you wanted to make a light boat for reasonable use, (no expeditions, no serious off shore use), what materials would you change?
(BTW, not in a rocky area and this will typically be used for sandy rivers).
I would want glass on the bottom of the boat for repairability. SO, I'm thinking something like:
Carbon/Kevlar Tape
Layers of:
Carbon/Kevlar or maybe lightweight glass for workability.
Deck
Carbon/Kevlar
Carbon/Kevlar
Hull
Glass (4 oz)
