Hi Tom;

I've heard lots of nice things about the Great Auk, but no hands on experience. I built a Georgian Bay, which would probably fit you a bit better than me, as I'm smaller at 5'-9", 160 lb. Mine turned out 17' x 25" wide, and has a high volume foredeck. You can see my construction at the link below. A good place to check out builder's comments is located at
