I'm planning on building a Great Auk this winter. I selected it for the same reasons (newbie, 6'4", size 11, etc.) I've plotted out the form patterns and am in the process of deciding how to handle the foredeck (rounded or peaked).

I found some pictures of the Great Auk that I haven't seen on this board before. I hope mine turns out as nice :-)
