Hi Roger
I think Putz calls for 3/5 back from the bow for your center/body weight position. I believe Mike Hanks modified his a little, and moved his back about 1 1/2" more. Check with Mike on that. Are you going with the Putz style cockpit, or a more modern version off another kayak.? I think Bill's looks real good, and I like the way he chose to install it.
