Rather than sand, you might try a paint scraper. If you do it while the epoxy is still green, it will level off the high spots. When it gets down to where it is riding on the glass, it will make a different sound and will basically quit cutting. With a very little bit of practice you can level out the epoxy quite quickly with the scraper and finish off with a light once-over sanding. Also, the scraper does not fill your shop with epoxy sanding dust.

Grant
