Hi Joe,
I just remembered as I saw your posting that you were using a different method. One temporary separate stringline?
Also erred on the outside templates
In the case of any concavity width being close to the offset dimension, you get mushed outlines. Like at a recessed coaming. Easy to account for,(use just a vertical offset), but have to be careful.
