: I'm getting along in building my Merganser Hybrid and my wife is starting to
: think about the next one (her's).
: She's most interested in poking around on the edges of waterways, looking at
: and photographing plants and
: animals. But(!) she wants to be able to move along, if necessary, to keep up
: with me and go out on Maine
: coastal waters (in calm conditions) at times. Her "specifications"
: are that the kayak be stable (she thought a
: Looksha Sport that she tried was good !), not too long (so she can get in
: close to shore at times), manuverable,
: able to take a spray skirt, and sized right for her (175 lbs., 5' 6",
: feet women's10.5).
: My building preferences are somewhat toward stitch-and-glue rather than
: all-strip (simply to get both done by
: Spring) but that's not cast in concrete.
: Any help in picking some designs?
: ---Paul Johnson
How about casting it in concrete. There is actually a race for concrete canoes so why not also a concrete kayak. Could not help it ;-)
