: You are correct in that epoxy does not bond well to stainless. Just rough up
: the stainless before adding the epoxy and it will adhere fairly well
: through a mechanical bond. Cleaning the stainless with acetone helps, too.

You could also drill holes through the bracket so the epoxy flows through for a locked in bond.
