Hi Mark,

There are three ways to look at this;

1- if you want to build a boat using Nick's method then his book is better.

2- If you want to build a boat using Ted's method then his book is better.

3- if you want to build any boat using your own method, read ALL the books on the subject that you can find.

Nick and Ted have two answers to the problem of kayak construction. There are many more from other builders and other sources. The more you know on the subject the more ways you will have to solve the problems.
