Hi Pete, For those sitontop hatches may I suggest a lip built on the opening to increase the pressure at the hatch tape. On one boat I layed a thickened bead of epoxy at the top edge which provided a dry compartment.

The front hatches require more of a curve than the existing ribs provide, for your already constructed hatches you could put a few vertical slices in those ribs and bend/tape them.
