I visited the Suunto web site (http://www.suunto.fi/) after reading this post. Has anyone used any of the watches with compass and/or barametric functions. any thoughts on accuracy, usefulness or cost.

Seems pretty cool to me.

: comes with a base which you would permanently mount on your deck, so the
: main compass is still detachable for storage/security reasons! Both
: compasses are available in either black or yellow housing. Of course, if
: you really need/want the very best ... check out their 95, 115 and 116
