: Be careful with any of these glues freezing. Some companies won't ship any
: Titebond glue in the winter because of the risk of freezing. I used

Hi Chris

I don't know about that Freezing problem as I'm not crazy enough to be out in 30* weather to watch it. :) But... I do believe that there is a stale date on most of the woodworking glues. Don't know for sure, but, I always buy gallon bottles and pour into smaller bottles, such as Mustard bottles with the squeeze top. When I slowed down on working projects and the glue sat for a long time, it did seperate and start to clump up. About a year I would guess. You can tell as it will have a watery consistancy and has gobs that will clog the bottle when you try to pour it. I never tried to remix it, cause I couldn't afford to have something come apart in a few weeks or months after I used the bad glue. I always threw it away. Maybe it can be remixed. ?? I still use the Titebond and II as I've never found anything that was better, and cost less. I just buy according to what I will be able to use in a year. For me, still gallons. I like the mustard bottles better than the glue bottles because of the little round hole at the top and you can open it a little or a lot and get a good bead of glue whatever size you want. The glue tops are slotted and a nuisance to use and keep clean.
