: I want to epoxy a few padeyes (screwed into wooden blocks) into the interior
: of my kayak. I live in a small apartment and all kayak work must take
: place outdoors. The weather is unseasonably chilly down here in Atlanta.
: Between day and night the temp has been fluctuating from around a high of
: 60 to a low of near freezing. Would there be any problem with attaching
: these wooden blocks to hull using regular slow dry epoxy. Would it just
: take longer to dry or would, even after if fully dried, result in a weak
: attachment?
: Thanks,
: Dave Walker
Once it sets up it will be fine, even if it takes longer. Can you string an extension cord out there and put a 100w bulb in the boat?
It's much colder here in Wa. and we manage.
Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.
