The socks are wonderful and eliminate the contortions that I had to perform to get my feet through ankle-gaskets. The only irritation of the socks is that the fabric can bunch-up when worn underneath a neoprene boot (you don't want to walk on the sock itself), but that is a trade-off that I can live with. FYI, Kokatat has a neoprene boot option, but I like the ability to wear different footwear.
